Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Dallas, TX. Support the firm’s Investment Banking Division loan portfolio through the servicing of these deals/facilities where Goldman Sachs is acting as a lender of record. Process complex technical loan closings and servicing events, while working with stakeholders including Borrowers, Agents, Desk, Legal and Controllers. Analyze, investigate and resolve loan transaction issues and exception reporting while reconciling multiple books and records accounts. Approve wires, cash receipts, loan servicing system overrides and go-jams. Identify risks and inefficiencies in daily business processes. Assist with the interviewing, training and development of new hires. Prepare and reconcile data for regulators, internal risk reporting and ad-hoc projects. Review complex legal documents such as Credit Agreements and loan notices received from Agent banks. Provide managerial oversight of analysts including risk mitigation, career development and workload management using customized reporting tools and analysis of large data sets.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include four (4) years of experience with: performing in-depth reconciliation processes to balance books and records to mitigate financial risks. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: working with market data applications and Word, Excel, PowerPoint to track volumes, workflow, and projects, including utilizing Pivot tables to manage large datasets, and V-lookups to minimize manual processes and efficiently manage risk; identifying and resolving entry error and/or system generated issues; loan applications/software enhancement processes, including producing test scripts, coordinating testing activities, and analyzing post-production implementation; communicating operational requirements and procedures to external borrowers/agents. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with: reading and extracting information on credit agreements pursuant to the Loan Syndication and Trading Association (American market) as well as Loan Market Association (European market) convention agreements; and understanding the different attributes of varying loan types, including committed revolver, demand revolver, and term loans to ensure proper deal set up for accurate loan accruals.
