Description of Duties/Essential Functions

Subject to management approval of the Senior Colbert Decree Administrator, serves as the Transition & Research Administrator for the Colbert Decree. Organizes, plans, executes, controls and evaluates the ongoing transition activities related to the Colbert Decree. Serves as the Department's liaison with service providers regarding transition of patients from nursing facilities to integrated community-based living alternatives and wrap around support services. Directs and monitors the total transition planning and preparation processes of Colbert Decree but not limited to pre-transition and post-transition reviews. Establishes and implements policies, standards and procedural guidelines for the transition. Develops, establishes and revises existing policies, rules and regulations concerning the Colbert Decree programs. Confers with other administrative personnel regarding problems. Serves as a full line supervisor. Travels in the performance of duties.

Minimum Requirements

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college with coursework in a social or human services field. Requires four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a health or human services organization. Requires thorough knowledge of public and business administration, principles and practices. Requires thorough knowledge of agency programs and service objectives, activities and operational systems. Requires ability to develop and manage a major agency program. Requires thorough knowledge of the Colbert Decree and the implementation requirements and rules. Requires thorough knowledge of business office applications (not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and other presentation software applications. Requires the ability to travel.

Anticipated Monthly Salary: $4,295 - $12,734
Current Bargaining Unit Employees – Collective Bargaining Agreement language applies
Full Pay Plan: $51,540 - $152,808/Yearly
