The May Center for ABA Services in Richmond, VA, is seeking individuals in the Virginia Peninsula region (Williamsburg/Newport News/Hampton) to serve as part-time independent evaluators for a large-scale, grant-funded randomized controlled trial.
Qualified individuals will have experience working with young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as experience administering standardized psychological assessment tools (e.g., Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales and/or other related measures).
The roles of the independent evaluator will include:
- Attendance in online training modules on assessment tools used in the study.
- Administration of standardized tests to study participants, including interviews with caregivers, across study timepoints for participants.
- Participation in periodic teleconferences between other independent evaluators and principal investigators.
- Prompt communication with study coordinator.
Independent evaluators will be compensated $100 per hour for time spent during training, administering assessments, and attending meetings. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current federal rate of $0.58/per mile.
