Social Media and Marketing Coordinator


  • Work with Marketing Director to develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Manage our Later platform for scheduling posts
  • Create GIFS/other content for our Instagram stories
  • Manage incoming collaboration requests from influencers and others
  • Reply to social media messages, requests, etc., at direction of Marketing Director, and relay necessary information to other departments
  • Coordinate with collaborators to ensure delivery of agreed upon assets and tags
  • Coordinate with in-house entertainment team regarding entertainment schedule and content
  • Work with Marketing Director to manage email marketing and in-house promotions.
  • Coordinate with PR firm to ensure they are up-to-date on upcoming events and promotions
  • Measure KPIs for social media posts and campaigns, as well as work with digital marketing agency to monitor KPIs of paid social media campaigns.
  • Keep up to date on the latest social media best practices and technologies

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. We are looking for an excellent communicator who takes direction well and is passionate about social media. Preference for individuals who have knowledge in Shopify, photoshop, and video editing, as well as full suite of standard social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat). Proven writing and time management skills, as well as attention to detail and organizational skills. Demonstrable social media management experience, with background in marketing, and ability to adapt social content to reflect the voice of the hotel and appeal to target audience with posts and social strategy.

Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to diffuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Ability to stand and move throughout the hotel property and continuously perform essential job functions.

You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
